Award recognises increased appeal of environmental sector to institutional investors

Impax Asset Management, the environmental investment specialist, scooped the 'Specialist Equity Manager of the Year' award at last night's Global Pensions Awards 2011, rounding off a highly successful year for the firm.

The award highlights increasing interest from institutional investors in the environmental sector and follows a significant expansion of Impax's business managing capital on behalf of pension funds around the world.
